There are many Europeans stuck in New Zealand. Why not? Who's blocking.
Luckily for her New Zealand has been one of the best, safest, and most beautiful places to be during this pandemic, so she is fine. Her boyfriend is from New Zealand, she works there, and has a lot of Kiwi friends.OMG ... that's chaotic. I hope the latest round of pot-luck works out.
Here it's one wave that is being amplified into a tsunami in the "stupid" states. In the "sane" states - NY, CT, NJ - where people do not act like ideological idiots but with sound common sense for the betterment of all ... we are down to <=1% of daily tests resulting in a positive. This has been our baseline for the past 3 weeks. This Virus is in freefall again in various parts of the world, experts are now referring to it as 1st and 2nd waves, and it would seem the waves will continue if no vaccine is found.
My glasses fog up with normal masks...Annoys me that some companies are unashamedly cashing in on the virus. Been seeing full page newspaper ads by a so-called medical supplies company offering their products for sale. Like most people I wanted a mask(s) as I am particularly vulnerable. Anyway, they had re-usable black masks on offer with a vent to prevent fogging if you wore glasses.
Just the job, I thought, until I saw the price!! The shameless gits wanted £19.99 for a pack of 3 plus £2.95 postage. I decided to shop around online and found what looked to be identical masks in 3 packs on Ebay for just £7.00 with FREE DELIVERY. That's a saving of £15.94 on what looks like an identical item! The masks are GOOD quality, well made and do the job perfectly. Sure pays to shop around and deprive these profiteering bastards of some ill-gotten gains. Just think of single mums, pensioners and anyone on limited income; £15.94 is a lot of money to them and would force them either to use money earmarked for other things such as food, heating etc or do without any face protection whatsoever. I hope the company concerned goes bust in short order. Literally!
Sew a thin wire inside the upper seam of the mask. Then you can form it so it fits the shape of the nasal bridge. Easy and effective. Your glasses won't fog up anymore. My glasses fog up with normal masks...
Let me know if these work, if they do send me a link so I can buy some!

If your glasses still fog up, then put a little bit of shaving foam on them and clean them with some tissue paper.
