I'm enjoying but the real entertainment will come when the big teams get to grips with each other in the final stages. Can't wait! :p

As for the Swans, lots to do before we get back to action and I'm really interested in the players that we transfer in. We'll see then the type of football that Graham Potter wants to play.

Finally, great to see you posting again @Borini Welcome to the forum and I hope you really enjoy.:)

I am thoroughly enjoying it - it’s taking my mind off the Swans - no idea what the new season is going to look like, feel like or go like - I’m still in mourning I think like so many others - So until we start having some positive news on transfers in it just feels too sad and negative

Like LGG thoroughly enjoying it,and as Borini says,no nail biting viewing regarding the results. But sadly the nail biting and uncertainties start for us soon, those uncertainties probably being in the boardroom rather than on the pitch. Would just like to wish G.Potter and Co the very best in their new venture.

World Cup livening up now and Croatia had a great win against Argentina. Poor Messi looked properly pissed off and it proves the point, that we so often said about the Swans, that if you don't get a decent supply of passes into your striker, even if he's world class, he's not going to score. Well they didn't, he is and he didn't!

Whilst we're missing the ....ovs from Bulgaria, we are still being entertained by the ....ics from Croatia, the ....ssons from Denmark, Sweden & Iceland and the ....skis from Russia. It all adds to the flavour and there's a few cracking games in prospect.

PS: I forgot to mention the .....os from Brazil and the ezs from Mexico. :)

I thought Luka Modric had a superb game, box to box player, controlled their midfield, and scored a screamer to put the game well and truly out of the Argies reach.

Yes he did have a great game. Think someone mentioned that he might be going back to Spurs. Can't believe that.

Belgium running riot at the moment! If England can't win I'd want either Spain or Belgium to do it. Given the fantastic players that Belgium have, and they way they're playing, I think they have a great chance. It would be good for them in that they don't win much at sport other than cycling.

But the tougher games are to come. Mopping up the minnows is well and good but Lukaku and Hazard etc won't get the same amount of time and space against the big boys. Really looking forward to watching them play England!!

The Beigium defence isn't the greatest , don't know how they would hold up under sustained pressure , but they are devastating on the break , with more clinical finishing they should have had 4 or 5 more today !

I'd love them to thrash Engerlund !

How long do you think Shakiri will stay with the potters? Or is he already sold on??
I heard that his contract allowed him to leave in the event of relegation - and that he wants to leave. Things were probably put in abeyance until the WC finishes but I doubt we'll be facing him next season.
