Well, we did our best to throw that one away didn't we? Nearly fcuked it up again with Sunderland easily the better team in the second half according to comms. It's always been the same. Our lot start to believe the hype, think they're better than they are and then fall off the cliff.
Russell Martin has got a lot to think about. What was so different about the second half performance (we lost it 0-1) compared to the first half? Did we have fitness issues? Did we take our foot off the gas? Did Mowbray come up with some brilliant tactics that swung the game so much their way? Whatever the reason Martin had better suss it out and pdq. We are now in a great position to kick on and do something really good this season but that second half has me worried and we need reasons for it so it doesn't happen again.
That said, well done to all for a great first half. But they have to remember that football is a game of two halves, something that seems to have slipped their minds today.
