Cooper has some big decisions to make going into Saturday. Ayew cannot possibly be left off the team sheet following that performance. John looked good. Garrick needs to be considered ahead of Astro and potentially McKay and Peterson. Surridge is going to struggle to get ahead of Borja and Ayew. We have to keep both to be promotion contenders.

Who the **** is Jordan Garrick? I could only listen on the radio, the announcer's moods changed as soon as he broke away and took that first shot. I have to find the highlights of this game and this player. Seemed like last year we had 1 striker on McBurnie. Now we have Borja, Ayew, and Possibly Garrick and Surridge. Hope Surridge and Dhanda come around. Dhanda is still young.

I don't remember what we paid for Asoro, but it was tooooo much, and when compared to Garrick (yes, only a quick view), Garrick impresses far more.

Only one in the highlights, Garrick collected enough nutmegs to make a huge apple Pie Physically strong as well. He was yards quicker than Peterson. An excellent receiver for Grimes' and VdH's outballs? (Cabango's long balls were pretty good, too).

If Cooper has the balls, our team sheet is going to get younger, which makes retaining and using Ayew, Routs, Dyer, VdH all the more critical because they will add wisdom to youthful exuberance.
I didn't see enough of Wilmot in the highlights to even get a glimpse of who he is .... but he is not ours, just a loanee.

According to SofaScore ratings he was one of our better players.
According to SofaScora Ayew, Byers, John and Wilmot were our best players.
When the sites like SofaScora give their ratings they look at the whole game, not only the best things one player does during the game. Video highlights can be misleading.
But Cabango and Garrick look like promising young players and I'd like them to get more involved in the first team action. Garrick and Kalulu on the wings will give us some serious pace up front and Ayew is much faster than Borja and Surridge.

Based on the commentary Cabango had a lot to do and did it pretty efficiently. For a 19 year old, very impressive. Apparently he's built along the lines of CCV too, so clearly if he keeps developing he is going to be a force on the field.

I would have trouble choosing the starting squad, with Kalulu, Peterson, Celina, Grimes, Byers, Fulton, Dyer in the midfield. Byers makes a few nice tackles, Fulton had 3 goals in preseason. Dyer had that great match against Hull. I like Peterson, Celina, Grimes and Dyer right now. See what Kalulu can do as a substitution.

Now I understand. Wilmot assisted for Ayew's second goal. All stats sites rate goals and assists highly.
