Swansea v Northampton

Key Player
Early days, but the new signings not showing a great deal of promise,It's an academy player that steals the limelight again.
Exactly ... we need to have faith in home grown talent. I have not been much impressed by the acquisitions (Surridge, AK, Peterson); jury still out with respect to Wilmot (I hardly heard his name mentioned on the audio commentary). Bidwell is the only one actually pulling some weight. Tonight, I heard nothing but kudos from the commentators for Cabango. Garrick was a game changer. Ayew was the class he is supposed to be .... and frankly we have and are still paying for. Tonight was his first goal for us since 2016!!!!! WTF. It makes you wonder what was going through the heads of Club management.

Some stats from the game:

POSSESSION: 59-41 SHOTS: 22-14 OT: 8-3 CORNERS: 11-4 FOULS: 8-10

Btw, had a quick shifty at Ben Cabango's profile, such as it is in his short career, and many will be delighted to learn that he was born in Cardiff.:DHe stands 6ft 2" tall but seems bigger. Sounds like he had a good game along with Garrick and of course Ayew.

Some VERY brief highlights (especially the first half ) as posted by Northampton FC. When the Swans' version is available, I'll post that as well as there might be some footage of young Garrick roasting their FB and maybe more of a glimpse of our trainee brick outhouse, Ben Cabango. Will be out for a while today, so if anyone can post it before I get back, please do so. :)
