Especially if you're 'Forever in Blue Jeans'. :) Yes, Hamilton is awesome when it's wet. They should dub him the modern "Regenmeister". The conditions played havoc with qualifying with Red Bull particularly affected as they gambled on the weather. Should be a great race tomorrow.

Weather forecast unpredictable as usual in Spa! Ferrari and Mercedes seem to be quite evenly matched for pace so with Ham and Vet both at the front we should get a good race

The rain stayed away and it turned out to be a routine win for Vettel. Ferrari were quicker on the day and that must concern Mercedes with Monza in the offing. At least Hamilton was second to keep points loss to a minimum. And he obviously throttled back near the end to protect his engine and gearbox rather than chase a lost cause.

Yes, as I said previously, straight line speed was going to be a big factor on this circuit with its long straights. Also there was praise for the addition of the 'halo' fitted to the front of the driver cockpit which invariably saved a life today in that major collision.

Not the most exciting GP, nice move by Vettel on first lap but all a bit lackluster after that. Most likely mechanical reliability will decide this years championship, Its a big shame we dont get to see flat out racing anymore!

The next race, Monza will once again favour the straight line speed of Ferrari at the moment, a similar circuit to Spa, and Ferrari's home patch.

Entertaining qualifying at Monza pretty close between Ferrari and Mercedes, great to see Kimi get pole, i don't think Vettel was too happy! hopefully it will be a closer / better race than Spa.

I get the feeling it will be a similar race with a similar outcome, fast circuit with Ferrari having that 0.2 second edge, and they're on their home patch.

Can't see beyond a Ferrari win but anything can happen in F1. You can be sure that Hamilton will be busting a gut to win this but his car and team have to deliver. Will be interesting to see how much of a race they make it.

Yes, a great win in a tactical race. Seb not best pleased with the coming-together but everyone bar him agreed it was his fault.

This is typical of Vettel, when things ain't going his way this vindictive streak comes out in him, which has cost him in a couple of races this season. Shouldn't think he'd be too pleased with Kimi setting the fastest ever F1 time, with him (Vettel) having the No 1 car.

There are possibilities of another big name in F1 retiring as Ferrari announce Kimi Raikkonen will be released at the end of the season, his replacement to be Charles Leclerc, it's rumoured this deal has been done, just subject to an announcement.
Also Red Bull are considering leaving F1 in 2020 if the new Honda power unit doesn't give them the required results.

I'd have thought that Ferrari would have gone for a bigger name than Leclerc but he obviously must have great potential. Thing is, he'll accept being #2 to Vettel whereas a bigger name such as Alonso, wouldn't have. Mind you, that pairing would have given Mercedes an awful lot to think about. Shame if Red Bull do pull out. Puzzling about the Honda unit as it's obviously not delivering. Back in the day they were almost unbeatable in Mclaren.

This is a problem Max Verstappen will find himself with if he wants a top drive, neither Vettel or Hamilton will want him as a #2. I remember Prosts contract stating "No South American drivers as #2" when Senna applied for the vacant seat.

Looks like Ferrari are destined to be swallowing Mercedes exhaust fumes again this weekend, Hamilton and Mercedes proving to be on top of their game again in practice.
