Brentford showing us how it's done. In possession they are quicker than us and supporting at pace. We are static in comparison and their press is eating up our efforts..... such as they are. Bees don't mind leaving the boot or the elbow in, dirty fuckers, but if we haven't got the bottle to give it back then that's our fault. We are walking through this game in comparison with them. Their movement and support is far superior to ours all over the pitch.
One more goal to them and that's us finished, so Cooper had better drum into the team to start playing as if they mean it. As if they WANT to get to the Premier League because that's what's at stake. We didn't look like that in the first half with Brentford light years ahead of us in thought and deed. They look like a PL team in waiting, we don't. We need more pace, more aggression and urgency and a lot more thought.
Brewster is totally redundant because we haven't found a way to give him so much as one decent chance, which is abysmal in a game of this importance. We're asking no questions of them and giving them an easy ride to Wembley. And that is unforgivable!!
