Should I meet Culls in the street I'll warmly shake his hand for his goal and then shake him warmly by the throat for that penalty miss. The final minutes put years on me!! Thank goodness Lowe got that very nice finish to save my frayed nerves. But a very well deserved win as we were easily the better team today. And Cardiff's wait for their first double will go on for at least another season.

Yes I think Grimes should have taken it in a moment like that, but hes a good captain and tried to give Cullen his moment. Give it to the last goal scorer. Ronald and Placheta look like they're developing some chemistry.

This game (and some other first halves) shows us which way we should go - high pressing (counter-pressing) football and quick transitions. Many crosses and many shots. More simple, less complicated. More Liverpool, less Manchester City.

I’m disappointed but not troubled by Cullen’s penalty. Surely he tried to be too precise and next time will be more relaxed and realize when the keeper is beaten.

what I’m excited about and augers well for the future is that he showed how he can finish. The more minutes he gets the more he can perfect his positioning and arrival into the box to create opportunities like that. Can there really be any other choice to start at #9; the only mystery is why it took so look for the coaching staff to settle on it.

I think Culls said he doesn't want them in future. He missed a couple of other decent, but not easy, chances and I'm pleased that Williams accepts the fact that you have to miss them before you score them. You need to be getting into positions to give yourself chances. And many strikers don't even know how to find those positions.
