I guess it'll take some time to rid the players of Duff's influence, so the sooner we appoint a replacement the better. From what I'm reading and hearing today Sheehan isn't the answer. I guess some of Duff has rubbed off on him as well. We need a manager to come in with a blank canvas and impose his style on the team and we need it fast. We can but hope that the new guy will be made fully aware of how the team likes to play and, equally important, what their limitations are. And there are plenty of them!!
That Rotherham. a lowly team with just 10 men, is giving us so much trouble, is not a good reflection on Sheehan. He should at least have got us playing with purpose, with intent, with eagerness to fill our boots and take advantage of a weak team that has been further weakened via a red card. That hasn't happened and we've struggled to impose ourselves. Not nearly good enough!!
