Another unattractive win - becoming our specialty! Pity about Benda's howler letting them score the first goal against us this season - I liked the idea of a fourth clean sheet in a row.

Their goal was all down to Benda , his poor clearance put Ayew under pressure and they broke away and scored.
Other than the goal I thought he did very well.

As I predicted - hard fought game and a 2-1 win :). We were less than convincing and, as is usual for us, we came under pressure at the end. But we rode it out quite well and did enough to snaffle the points against a difficult team. Vik's cameo looked promising in parts and he should only get better - at least we'll have some physicality up front as a contrast to Cullen who is smaller but a lot sharper. Enjoyed the three points, which keeps us right near the top and in good spirits until the next game. Team morale is so important and the lads should be bouncing now. I am :D.

What a win, Millwall did not press high and helped us look good with possession. Have to score against better clubs and we accomplished that. Bidwell is fantastic. Millwall is dirty and we get 3 huge points.

Cullen, Peterson, Vik .... rank them on what we’ve seen so far ... is Vik really looking like an upgrade.
Not seen enough of any of them to be fair. Cullen getting 17 goals in 23 games is hugely impressive but that was for the 'Unders' and it has to be accepted that a good striker will get goals at that level. However, look at Cullen's goal against Reading. One look and BANG it's in the net and that's what his game is. He needs minutes to gain sharpness and experience but I don't want to see Cooper fucking about with his game. Cullen is an instinctive striker and operates in and around the box. That's how and where Cooper should use him and make sure the rest get the ball in the box often enough for him to score.

Cooper has got to put him in the team to start with. It's no good giving him 5 and 10 minutes here and there. He needs to play him . If he had him on loan with his goal scoring record he would be straight in the team.

Watching the game I still don't see how Fulton doesn't start. He's so composed on the ball and is probably one of the few who doesn't need a second touch to play the ball in the middle. I've got no issues with Grimes or Smith today but Fulton brings that bit of class to our play. I don't want to be a downer but looking at our recent form, even though on the table it's great, I can't see us having a hope in the PL if we got there. We are miles off that level.
