Bye, bye to Roberts, Lowe and Grimes???

What “value” is a player to a Premier League squad who costs £2.5m?
A huge value if his name is Roberts. And with a fee of just £2.5m no risk at all.

The better question is what "value" is a player to a Premier League squad who costs £20m and scores 0 goals (Brewster), costs £16m and scores 1 goal (Balotelli), costs £40m and scores 6 goals in 69 appearances (Joelinton), etc.

What I want to know is what the Club didn’t like about Lowe that they wanted him gone. I believe I remarked when we signed Lowe that Bristol had two seasons prior, or some like that, paid over a million for him, and obviously didn’t find any use or value. Like us they moved him on … to us … now we’ve done the same to Bournemouth. Why?

Martin has a new set of lego bricks in his set. Do they fit. Does he really want them. What can he do with them. He’s not a miracle worker. At first look, what we we’ve done this transfer window is shipped out known quality that seemed to fit the mold that Martin was putting together and acquired, with the exception of Piroe, a set of misfits and cast offs that so far have not demonstrated anything close to the quality we need and already have.

im getting a tad tired of the lack of fitness excuse. I don’t want to hear that when we resume play. I want the new Legos to show the right number of pins and the right color.

I think it's mutual. It's Martin's decision, and Lowe accepted it.

You ask why? Well, Lowe has lost his drive and speed he had when he played for Portsmouth. He lacks wildness and physicality. He is a good player, but he is not so good that he can't be replaced. I'll make it short. Lowe is not a warrior.
