Easter Monday and a long trip north to struggling Wigan.
This should be 3 points for us but with the Swans you never know what you will get in terms of consistency.
Liam Walsh is finding his feet ( and fitness ) and is proving his worth in midfield. I would expect some rotation with Cooper and Latibeaudiere back in the starting lineup .
I predict a scrappy , 2-0 win in a tough game.

I like Walsh. A lot. He is technically gifted, he is creative, and he can press and tackle. But he needs to start scoring. Though, I'd like to see Whittaker in that no. 10 role he played with a lot of success when he was out on loan, which means Walsh either sitting on the bench or playing in the central midfield.

🤦‍♂️I don't get it. Cullen is our most prolific scorer by far in terms of minutes per goal. He only played part of the Friday match and is on the bench for this match. Piroe is preferred having not capitalized on a chance that Cullen would have most likely buried against Coventry. Oh to be a Pet.

Allen, Fulton, Grimes is a pretty solid midfield.

I have come to prefer Darling to Lati at RB.

Pato in place of Whittaker and Cullen, Pato and Piroe had some good link up play last season. But I would rather play Whittaker. Walsh isn't on the sheet I hope he isn't injured again.

I would love to see those 3 at the top

Whitaker and Obafemi sales are targeted to provide funds for summer transfers , don't expect the yanks to put in a cent of their own money into the transfer kitty !

We are going to lose Whittaker in the summer and it's all Martin's fault.
An awful lot of what is wrong with us is Martin's fault. No one elses'. His team selections can be horrendous and he does have his pet players, ones he won't drop no matter what. We should beat Wigan but with our lot you never know. Being honest it won't bother me if we lose. It would be another nail in Martin's footballing coffin with us and I can't wait to see the back of him!

Having said that I do feel guilty. Martin strikes me as a decent bloke, one I'd be happy to have a drink and a chat with. Chat? Anything except football that is because I'm certain we'd come to blows if we did . I felt much the same way about Steve Cooper actually and I got on well with his dad the few times we met.

G'day all. In these first few minutes I'd have to say that Wigan are impressive with their high press and slick passing. Certainly don't look like cellar dwellers.
