Montero on loan to WBA and Carroll on loan to Aston Villa.

Fer's transfer is off.

Bony to Middle East.

Discuss.

I don’t get the Montero thing but other than that none of the other moves were bad business or really bad for the squad.

Disappointed that Montero has gone. On his day he can be a match winner and he was starting to find form. We have to find some way to get the scum that's infecting our club out once and for all or we won't have a club left to support.

Perhaps Potter drew a Red Line re Dan going. Then the upshot would be to sacrifice Jeff for Dan and Tom for Leroy? Wages down but we get to keep the good uns.

It's horrifying to think the owners are running this team from all way over in the states. If the owners want cash they should do what they can to get back in the PL or at least an FA Cup run. Can't do that without players.

Montero is a proven game changer at this level. What a stupid move. Carroll I can understand - where would he play - in place of who. Based on Potter’s comments, he expected Carroll to be part of his squad for Saturday, so that was a last minute deal. With a Montero gone are they now going to start playing Narsingh.

Three senior squad loaned out nobody coming in ... cost cutting measures ... no ambition for this season other than a financial one. Agent says they couldn’t get Dan gone quick enough and then they bailed on the deal. (It’s strange that I say “they” rather than “we” ... I feel disconnected from the club at the moment).

Last season’s and this season’s books are going to be interesting to read. Keep an eye on retained earnings between the two fiscal years. Any variation between the two numbers not accounted for by net profit or loss implies a dividend to the shareholders ... a dividend not reported by the Trust.

I believe we’ve completely screwed up this James situation. It’s a great story that Huw stood up to the owners but we’ve completely alienated James to the point he won’t sign a new deal and we probably won’t see anything near £10 million when we do have to sell him.

Do we know that for a fact. If he'd been on the ball, the James situation would not have got to the point where James was sitting in Leeds at the deadline waiting for the deal to close, without the decency of a call or so much as a text (we know they know how to use texts as that's how they fired Laudrup) from the Club to notify him that the Club were not prepared to release him and we'll take care of you.

Quite frankly ... WTF ... why did it get to this point. Were the loans for Montero and Carroll ... the offset that kept James here.

Jenkins and the Yanks pulled the plug on the deal simply because our fans were raging on social media. They were afraid of fans' reaction. I've never seen so many Swansea fans being so angry with the club, at least not since Petty era.

The deal had been agreed between the clubs before Dan was sent 200+ miles to Leeds to have his medical. And the club officials are lying when they say they were not able to reach an agreement with Leeds.

I don't think Jenkins actually stood up to the yanks.(Don't think he's got the balls for that) I think a more likely conclusion was he informed them of the growing unrest in the fanbase and actually within the club itself, and advised them the consequences may be detrimental to the immediate future.

If ever there was a time for the Trust to jump on the band wagon it's now, it will never have more support than now. I think the entire city is revelling in the fact that they have been forced to retract a deal that was going to benefit them and them alone. Show them we will not be pushed aside for their financial gains. We the fanbase picked this club up by its bootlaces when it most needed it, not to have it financially crippled by a couple of faceless Americans. Sumbler, get your act together and get the Trust performing its duty.
