Swans v QPR

The best part of the game was the final whistle. Look at the squad list for next season .... it’s going to get even more “exciting”

I think I've given up the will to live after watching that. Bear in mind that QPR have LOST THEIR LAST FIVE away games yet they were easily the better team over the 90 minutes despite a slightly improved showing by us second half. Some stats:

POSSESSION: 54-46 SHOTS: 8-16 OT: 0-4 CORNERS: 4-3 FOULS: 17-12 GOALS: Sod all.

Before I start I have to say that yet again we were blessed with a set of officials that gormless doesn't even begin to describe. Either that or one-eyed to the point of cheating, in my opinion. We had 3 clear shouts when on another day we'd have had 3 pens. As it was the Sky pundits agreed that 2 of them should have been given. Thanks yet again, Football League, we feel so blessed with the choice of donkeys you see fit to foist on us.

That said, the stats above are a fair reflection of the game and QPR deserved to win it. A look at the foul count gives an idea of the pressure we were under at times, confirmed by the shots at goal figures. We failed to get A SINGLE SHOT ON TARGET were pants and looked like it.

What worries me is that at no time did we play as a team, or even look like it, and that is a COACHING ISSUE!! I reckon that you could take 20 or so experienced managers from the lower divisions who would get a better tune from this squad than Cooper is. One that immediately comes to mind is....... wait for it....... Kenny Jackett and I really never rated him much either.

As far as I'm concerned our season is now over. We've blown it. And I'm beginning to think that it might benefit us if we dropped like a stone and only just avoided relegation. That just might focus the minds of the 'Three Wise Men' into realising what an almighty bollock they dropped when, in their 'wisdom' they appointed Cooper into a job he seems patently ill equipped to handle. Of course they won't ever admit it but they know and WE know the truth of it. It was ill considered and showed a huge degree of bad judgement. It was nothing more than a cheap gamble that hasn't worked.

Worst game I've seen since the old 4th division.
Froze my nuts off just to be completely frustrated by a clueless bunch of numpties which included the officials who were as inept as our team.
Surely the 3 musketeers must have a word with Blooperman. This squad is far better than their performances and the lack of results or even goals should see Blooperman given his cards. I go to the liberty to support my team , but while doing that I expect to be entertained and watch some decently played football. That's just not happening, Blooperman uses the same tactics every week , can't he see it's not working , no width, no pace, no movement , no pressing , no shots , no tackles , no movement just players hiding and going side to side and backwards .
Cooper out NOW ! Before I lose all my hair and temper boils over.

What blobs said with bells on.
That was dire.
If we had been given a penalty I doubt we would have hit the target.
I am also appalled with our back 4. No one is leading the line. They are all over the place.
My wife could train this lot better than stuporman.

What a night! An absolute horror show. The loanees look like they just want to get to the end of the season without injury.
The only thing the ref got right was giving Rangel a lap of honour when he was subbed off - the only chance we had to sing YJB.
I can't blame the ref for not awarding countless free kicks ans two nailed on penalties. It would have been a gross miscarriage of justice for us to win a match we deserved to lose.

I agree that it would have been rough on QPR but that's no excuse for the officials failing to do their jobs properly. They should be censured by the EFL and marked down accordingly. For what that's worth. They've done their damage to us!

Been reading about the game a lot this morning and the overwhelming consensus is that this was our worst performance in years. The weight of feeling against Cooper and his methods is massive. Don't do Face Book but I read that the verdict from fans on there is almost unanimous in favour of Cooper getting the boot before he does any more damage. Are we ALL wrong?

Trevor Birch is getting a huge amount of stick for probably going with the cheapest option but, surely, even he must see how his appointment has spectacularly backfired. Much has been said from the Liberty (and others grasping at straws) that we are still only 3 points from the top six places. But the way we have been playing it might as well be 103!

There are so many things wrong with our team that are purely down to coaching issues. Anyone who has the slightest idea of the game should be able to see that. Frankly the list is so long it would take more time than I have to set them out here. We are not talking only about sophisticated things either but also basic things that any team should have in place from routine training.

Couple that with other factors such as Cooper not being an inspirational or motivational figure. His complete inability to read a game on the hoof and adapt his tactics accordingly: his stubborn reluctance or inability to introduce subs at the opportune moment, the list goes on and on.......

I really wish him well and I really wish he was elsewhere.

Andy Pandy played more or less the same team as Saturday. No idea of how to use his squad and his bench to put fresh legs on the field. Tired legs, tired minds, tired football. Many of the loan players have contracts ending this summer. They should be playing to get them extended. Like black beauty, Andy Pandy is riding them all hard and putting them away wet.

I wonder what Giggs thought of that performance. Did Rodon or Roberts do themselves any favors.

It is pretty ugly on Facebook. The level of disgust and anti Andy Pandy sentiment is off the charts.
