Swans v QPR

What should be 3 points on paper., but our recent form isn't a lot better than QPR's. They have lost 4 of their last 5, whereas we have won just 1 of our last five. A loss at home to these will almost certainly resign us to another season in the Championship and even threaten our existence in this league.,

We are 17 points clear off relegation places and with 15 games to go that's a huge margin. The bottom three have averaged less than one point per game this season. At this rate, and even if we lose all our games, they can't catch us.

Thank goodness for that!

Just making the point on our form since the Cooper takeover, as follows......
Aug. where it would be pretty obvious he would have played Potters firsts, due to their success.
Aug. played 8 won 7 (inc.1 cup)
Sept.played 4 won 0
Oct. played 5 won 2
Nov played 5 won 1
Dec played 6 won 2
Jan. played 5 won 2
Feb played 2 won 0 (to date)
I think we can be thankful Cooper wasn't with us from the start of the season as on this form we would probably be in quite a dire position.

Another tough game tonight which, if we don't win, will probably be the final nail in the coffin of the faint playoff hopes we have. As we all know, QPR smashed us 5-1 last time we played and we didn't have a clue what to do about it. Granted we beat them 3-1 in the league at their place but most will agree that we enjoyed the Luck of the Seven Blind Godesses in doing so.

However, despite the result, we actually played well against Derby and, if we can replicate that performance and add some goals, we can at least stay in touch with the top six places. If we do that I'm going for another 3-1 win for us. COYS!!!

I'll be there urging us on. I wish for a win and attractive football. To get both will be a bonus, especially with this howling wind.

defense is unchanged. Guehi sticks, Cabango on the bench.

Celina returns for Routs.

Dhanda starts in place of the injured Byers. Fulton again on the bench.

Kalulu back on the bench. No Garrick yet.

Put a bet on Sheffield and Nottingham to win. United did the job, just counting on Forest to pull it off today. Maybe this will be a match we are the worst team but get the win.
