That was absolutely dreadful. Potter needs to completely change it up. Monk did his homework. We've been passing the ball about the holding midfielders and back four in our own half the entire match so far. Knowing this, an effective press against a midfield with little ability to retain possession would lead to a lot of chances in transition. Potter's going to have to get the boys to quickly pass the ball past the halfway line or it's going to be another long half.

Well hopefully we can flip our form here in the 2nd half.
Fucking terrible performance, even worse than Preston if that's possible. At least in that second half we could have got a goal or two on the break. Here it's 14 shots to 1 !! Our dainty players are being pressured, out-muscled and out fought. We can't pass the ball or keep the ball and we should be at least 3 down. It's men v milksops and I know who I'd rather play against. If we play like this against a decent team like Leeds, they'll stick 10 on us.
So WTF are we doing in training? Precious little of any use by the looks of it. We are being played off the park by a bunch of hoofers, so what does that say about us? They aren't going to sit back and watch us weave pretty patterns. They are COMPETING and competing hard and our lot had better start doing the same. As I said, milksops!!
