Ryan Woods linked

Olsson, Roberts, Carroll, Fulton, Dyer, Routledge, McBurnie, Clucas, McKay. That's nine. Even if Clucas goes to Burnley we'll have eight. With Ryan Woods again nine.
Fulton and McB and McKay are Scottish. They are not domestic. Olsson can not possibly be unless he spent a minimum of 3years in a domestic club’s development system - like Sig did.

Our domestics are: Roberts, Carroll, Dyer, Routs, Clucas, Naughton, Grimes - Per the current first Team page on the web site. As of now we would automatically have to name at least one more, a U23 that is over 21 that is either Welsh or English.

We add Woods but lose Clucas we are still in the same position.

You are right about McKay, but not about McBurnie and Olsson. Nationality has nothing to do with "homegrown".

So our homegrown players are: Roberts, Carroll, Dyer, Routs, Clucas, Naughton, Grimes, McBurnie and Olsson. 9 players.

Olsson signed for Blackburn when he was 17 years and 8 months old. When he was 21 he had had more than 36 months in English leagues development system.

McBurnie was born in Leeds and has always played in England and Wales.

Scottish born players are not naturally domestic unless they apprentice with a domestic club as you pointed out for Olsson - wasn’t aware of his history. Lucky for us. As you stated McB was born in Leeds so he is also naturally domestic.

So we can tolerate losing Clucas.

It's pretty poor that we have to sell before buying a player for £7 million. What's happened to the other money we've had from transfers? Surely we can stump up the extra million with the number of players likely to be leaving soon.

Reading this morning that Brentford want £7 million but would deffo take £6.5 mill. Seems the player is DESPERATE to join us but we won't shift on meeting the extra 500k !! If this is true it's absolutely ridiculous even for us. One way or another Clucas is off either to Stoke (apparently pictured there yesterday) or Wolves, so what's the problem?

Also reading that Ayew is likely to join Palace but on a LOAN deal. Okay, we shift a disgruntled prima donna and lose his wages but that gives us no money to invest. Can't believe what's going on here, so there's obviously something I'm missing.

Its the idiot and the yanks that are missing any sense of urgency or rationality !
Clucas having medical at stoke . Should clear some funds when he's signed so we can bring in Woods.
Hope Clucas rotts in the lower league with Stoke !

In reality the sale of Clucas and buying of Woods shouldn't need to be mentioned in the same breathe, the club has recouped more than 5 times the asking price of Woods in player sales. If it's a case of having to sell Clucas to buy him then there are questions to be asked. Are we, as Yankee suggested financing their interests in America, or are sales monies being squandered on dividends to these so called 28 American investors.

Exactly. The club is going to record a huge profit from transfer activities in this transfer window. Almost as much as all other Championship clubs together if we excude Norwich and Middlesbrough profit from the equation.

The swans trust as a 21% shareholder would have to receive a dividend if any payments were made to the wank hedgefund.
The trust haven't received any payments so they are not funding DC UTd through the swans.

BREAKING NEWS on Talk Sport. They are saying that Fede has had a medical at Newcastle and it's almost a done deal at £6 million. Honestly, you couldn't make it up!! Six million for an international Premier League quality CB. Jenkins has to be the biggest pile of crap ever as a so-called DoF, in my opinion. One or two others might share that opinion.

Blob's. The Trust as 21% shareholders should have been told of he sale of the club, but they weren't . These yanks are probably experts at channelling monies for various sources, it's their livelihood, the monies are going somewhere, and definitely not back into the club.
