Oh dear. They want him to become Martin.Rooney joins Brum ... https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/67055334
At least that's one club we no longer have to worry about. Rooney's name is longer than his track record

Head in the shed! Charlie plays for Reading, not Crewe having signed a 4 year contract last July. Freudian slip as his dad played for Crewe. That's better for us should we want him because Reading urgently need cash. Charlie can play AM or DM, is 6ft tall and he says he's more of a ball player than was his dad. He's only 20 and MOM against Gibraltar, so has youth and ability. Okay, I get that Gib aren't much better than a pub team but France and Holland only scored 3 against them and Charlie did well. I'd sign him at the right money.Have to add a PS in that I thought Charlie Savage had a very tidy game and I think he's wasting his career at Crewe - he's better than that. I think he has a lot of potential and we could do far worse than put in a bid for him. He's learned his trade in the Man Utd academy so he has to have some talent.
It's good for Wales that Croatia were beaten by Turkey. Now you have a better chance to qualify. Perisic has a long-term injury, Modric isn't what he used to be and Hajduk Split's top scorer Livaja no longer wants to play for the national team. These three have been the most influential players of late. Yeah, and Kramaric is injured as well.Unfortunately they were surprisingly beaten 1-0 by Turkey the other day, so will be looking to put that right against us.
Yes, but they have to beat Armenia away if they want to have any chance of qualifying. I doubt Croatia will fail to beat Latvia away and Armenia at home.I think the Turkey match is a home one so that will help them.
