A couple of hugs and not criticising players in public would have been enough.
Have to say that if a player deserves criticism then so be it. As for hugs, if I was paid what Pogba earns, whether I played or not, the manager could kick me up the arse every day. I remember Yaya Toure sulking like fuck because he didn't get a birthday cake from Citeh. Birthday cake??!! For Heaven's sake, this guy was being paid north of a quarter of a million quid a week!!

I'm totally sick and tired of watching these spoilt, over indulged ego maniacs with their outrageous sense of entitlement demanding more and more and more and more........ Will it ever end? I can't tell you how much I hope it does.

Listening to Talk Sport and hearing some dreadful news about new Cardiff striker Emiliano Sala. Seems the young man has boarded a light aircraft to travel to Wales and that plane has been reported as missing. Obviously we all wish for the best and hope that Emiliano and the pilot will be found safe and well. Let's hope for some good news.
My thoughts are with their family and friends.

Understandably thousands of Villa fans went home 10 mins. early as their team was 3-0 down to Sheff.Utd and were being outplayed, but they missed an amazing comeback,as with just 8 mins. to go Villa pulled 3 back to end the game in a 3-3 draw, and deprive Sheff. Utd of the top spot in the Championship.

I see the officials were in sparkling form again. NOT! Sharp's second goal should have been disallowed on two counts. Okay, it might have been difficult to spot that the keeper had both hands on the ball but the offside in the build up was obvious to everyone....... except the very people who are being paid to spot that sort of thing. Exciting game though.

Yes I agree Ivor, I think the FA need to take a serious look at this problem, with the amount of money involved in football now, back to school for the majority. Apart from costing clubs money there's also the possibility of costing an average pools punter his one chance in a lifetime of £ Thousands.

Good Luck to Newport tomorrow, Pep isn't too confident, he says on BBC Sport they are taller and stronger, which concerns him.

Newport defeated but not disgraced, a valiant and rewarding cup run. There are lessons to be learned from their never say die attitude.

Very good effort from them and only late goals distorted the scoreline. Of course Citeh were by far the better team but Newport put in a great effort. Hope they made some decent dosh from their run.

Just watched Chelsea v United and enjoyed the game. But I was bouncing mad. Does this Sarri character think he's a good manager? He hasn't got a fcuking clue!! Chelsea were battling against a brick wall but when Sarri made his substitutions, he did like for like! The United keeper hardly had a shot to save second half but Sarri didn't have the nous to change his approach.

He persisted with Higuain up front who was totally dominated by the physical United CBs. He hardly threatened all game. I like him a lot and accept that he's world class but this wasn't his time. It was blindingly obvious that Chelsea needed some muscle and a physical presence up front to occupy and battle with the CBs (who had an armchair ride) allowing Hazard and Willian, when eventually he was brought on, to feed off the pieces in the United area. But Sarri, with bovine stupidity/stubborness, totally ignored 6ft 4" Olivier Giroud who would have given those CBs a pretty tough time.

Sarri's tactic was to play through United. When that failed miserably, he just changed personnel and kept doing the same thing! How stupid can you get?! He's got a top class target man ideally suited to ruffle the United defence big time and just let him rot on the bench. How some people make a living in football is beyond me but I doubt that Sarri will be doing so at Chelsea for much longer.

I see our neighbours were a little unlucky at home last night against Watford, losing by the odd four goals.:D:D

Brendan loses his first game 2-1 at Watford, but don't be too alarmed Leicester fans, he will have taken a lot of positives from the game.
