GIFT #1. We almost cocked up before that as well. Martin and his players just don't get it. You only play football out of defence when you have the TIME and SPACE to do it. If you don't, you go long. That can often pay dividends because if there's a high press on us it means the oppo are light in defence, which means a long ball can catch them out. Do that a few times and it keeps them honest so their press will slacken for fear of being hit by a long ball counter. It's BASIC STUFF, Mr Martin!!!!!!!!!!!! Fucking LEARN it!!
