Let's hope for a better 2nd half than this yawn fest, Martin will purr about our control and bravery but cmon , let's have some pace and entertainment.

Making real hard work of beating the bottom team in the division - shows what we are about really despite Martin's constant hype.

Off goes Piroe who the comms just said has scored ONE goal from open play in his last NINE appearances! How on earth can Martin justify ignoring Cullen as he does? It is stubborn, short-sighted and, imo, plain STUPID!! Cullen must be absolutely gutted at the way he's being treated.

This is the perfect game to give fringe players a chance, against the bottom club who are playing with zero self-belief and are there for the taking. Guys like Cullen, Oko-Flex and even Fin Stevens would have to see that if they can't bring a performance in this situation, they have no right to complain about riding the bench, so they would be very motivated without being thrown in the deep end. I think all three could have done quite a lot today.

But then Martin probably thinks this game is going great with a few of the regulars phoning in more of the same second-gear play. If and when Swansea win with a single late goal, he'll see that as validation for this dopey nonsense. Zero killer-instinct, just an obsession with the wrong numbers.

I only saw the first 20. It appears I missed little. It’s going to be a brief “highlight” reel.

Piroe is a luxury ornament we can’t afford … when others are not running, attacking defenders, he has to show, he has to offer a target and it’s not happening. Either he can’t do that, or he can’t be bothered because he knows he won’t be fed the ball. Regardless, he’s not making anything happen, he’s not working their defenders, he just ambles in between them and is largely ignored. And, we have far better penalty takers … so what’s his value. At least Obafemi can and will make runs … he has that offering, he poses a threat to defenders so they can’t ignore him.
