Hornets at the Liberty , will we get stung again ?

What sort of response will the team give after no wins in the last 8 games ?
I'm not expecting much , let's hope Martin drops his pets and plays those who play with passion and pride , it's not much to ask for is it , too many players are just going through the motions , time to trust the youngsters , start with Okoflex for example .
Come on Martin ,Drop the deadwood and motivate the rest of the squad by giving them reasonable game time , not just bring them on when chasing the game from 2 goals down.

Ditto @The Blobster .

Time to say F*%k it and play those that fight to resurrect a lost cause. Maybe we won't then lose the cause to start with.

What other cards has Martin left to play. In his post match commentary, he basically admitted (without realizing it as he was in a state of depression/shock) that he has no idea WTF is going on nor what to do about it. Any other club and he'd be looking for a new job after those statements. Time for KOL to step up and give him some sage advice.

The game is live on Swan's TV for the UK and on the red button for Sky subscribers. We need three points for a win, simple as. We can get them so long as Martin selects the right team and we do not give Watford a head start as we've been doing with other teams. Let's hope and pray that our defence isn't in a giving mood today. 🙏

Cundle is starting but no sign of Oko-Flex. Who gets the task of marking Sarr?

Swansea City: Steven Benda; Joel Latibeaudiere, Ben Cabango, Harry Darling, Ryan Manning; Jay Fulton, Matt Grimes (captain); Luke Cundle, Joel Piroe, Ollie Cooper; Liam Cullen.

Substitutes: Andy Fisher, Joe Allen, Olivier Ntcham, Nathan Wood, Kyle Naughton, Matty Sorinola, Cameron Congreve.

Watford: Daniel Bachmann, Jeremy Ngakia, Mario Gaspar, William Troost-Ekong, Keinan Davis, Craig Cathcart (captain), Yaser Asprilla, Ismaila Sarr, Tom Dele-Bashiru, Leandro Bacuna, Christian Kabasele.

Substitutes: Ben Hamer, Vakoun Bayo, Samuel Kalu, Francisco Sierralta, Joe Hungbo, James Morris, Adrian Blake.

I expect to concede an early goal every time. Watford needs a quick counter to release Sarr and that's it.

Flat back four by the looks of it, in either a 4-2-3-1 or 4-4-2 shape. Taken with Cullen's start, you think the pressure (i.e. the board) is getting to Martin?

Latibeaudiere could be in for a tough night and I'd say it's highly likely Watford score on the break. Interesting to see if Cullen can handle the physicality of Watford's big back line too.

There haven't been any rumours about Martin being sacked that I've heard. How many more losses will it take? Obafemi and Manning are likely gone this window.

Cullen finally gets the chance he deserves as a starter. Let's hope he makes the most of it.
Let's hope that Martin's gameplan ALLOWS him to make the most of his start. Playing him out wide is NOT his game. Playing him deep is NOT his game. He'll do his fair share of work but his goals are scored in the box from poaching and we need to be getting the ball in there as often as possible to give him the chance to convert them. If we keep playing to suit Piroe as Martin's pet #1 striker then Cullen will be feeding off scraps. As Martin is playing him he must demand the service to him that he thrives on.

I don't want him sacked, I want him to go to Norwich, which will give us a few quid as opposed to paying off his contract. If that happens, as much as I think KOL is becoming a good coach, I'd like to see Cameron Toshack come in. He knows many of the players, likes a passing game but also he's bound to have picked up some good experience and habits at Leeds that he can throw into the mix.

I've heard the same, along with Ogbene from Rotherham coming to Swansea. He's a good player, strangely plays RWB and Striker. Hope there's truth to it.
