Robbed of 4 minutes because of that stupid free kick …. Took forever to stake that and the ref didn’t stop his watch

I was not expecting a point from that. 3 consecutive goals though and hopefully something to build on. Tough fixtures ahead. I don't know how fit Allen is but he is crucial right now.

One hell of a turn around , Martin needs to realise who turned up to play today and who needs to start
but will he. Will we get the same blather about brave, courage, and character or will he actually recognize who brought that onto the field.

will he recognize that playing Pato before Coop does nobody any good. Pato is not going to stop going down hill, and he doesn’t deliver anything of value that Coop doesn’t and then some, and it denies Coop another start to develop and get experience.

flex was used as a RWB, but it wasn’t until he went roving across field to the left side (his best side) that he got the ball, made a move, took a shot that was saved and Fulton put in the rebound.

Finally, Cullen appears and finishes as we all know he can.

All these things happened because Martin stumbled into what he should have known all along. I’m convinced that Martin has no idea what is best XI and setup his. He’s like a blind man stumbling around in a dark room bouncing off the furniture. Every now and again he gets something right but doesn’t recognize what or how so he can repeat it.

Credit the lads for an incredible comeback. Three goals behind is almost a death sentence but they fought to the end and grabbed an unlikely and, finally, a deserved point. Really well done for that. But I do NOT give any credit to Russell Martin for it. His dubious team selection and unfathomable tactics were responsible for us being so far behind in the first place - along with the abysmal performances turned in by some of his 'pets'.

When will he realise that Liam Cullen will score goals if he's given an extended run in the team? I've been saying it for yonks. I fully concede that outside the box he offers little (neither did Jimmy Greaves come to that, not that I'm comparing them) but, like Greaves, he has an uncanny instinct for poaching goals in the area. This game is about scoring goals and Cullen will do that IF he gets consistent service in the box. Vary your game plan, Mr Martin, when it's needed. Forget the pretty build-up by numbers that takes what sometimes seems like a lifetime, get the ball into dangerous areas and watch Liam Cullen fill his boots. Better judges than you at the Liberty know this is a fact. Try listening to them for a change.

Finally, whilst listening to our game, I've had an eye on the WC third place game which Croatia won. So, many congratulations to @CroJack for whom I'm extremely pleased. Way to go, CJ. (y):) And also I have to say well done to Morocco who proved that they are now a top international team.
