BRENTFORD

Another horrible set piece, right into the keepers hands.

HT now and time for Coop's to prove he's learned from past mistakes of changing nothing. Brentford will have been cautious this half I think due to their past form but they had a decent half without conceding and they will up the stakes 2nd half. Will we have a response? We've been okay and neither team deserves a lead but it's important that we keep going and try to get something from this game. The extra man in midfield for Brentford is helping them and we look a little exposed when they bypass our press.

We have to be thankful that Brentfords finishing has been poor and someone has to start kicking Benrahma as he's their main man creatively and letting him have time on the ball is going to kill us.

Brentford the more dangerous side for me, far quicker in transition, more athletic whilst our passing has been quite iffy at times. Why do we keep on floating high balls into their area? Their keeper has shown confidence in catching them and they have a tall defence who are eating them up. Drive a few low ones into the box when anything can happen, deflections etc.

And I agree about sticking a few on Benrhama; he's not hard to find with that blonde bonce of his!

@IanABS94 ... the keeper came out past the penalty spot to claim it. He is fearless.
Oh I know but we're putting them on a plate for him everytime; they are high balls lofted in which for a keeper of his type is easy pickings for him. We should have learned by the 4th high ball in that he's going to come for it and we should have changed our set pieces accordingly.

Our defense looks very poor, wouldn't be surprised to see a goal. Some good plays made but have to get better. Cooper lead your men.

They are definitely turning the screw in the midfield, that extra man there is really starting to show.
