An unbiased squad assessment is about to follow. Duff has no dog in the race regarding Martin's Pets and in particular the keeper position.
From his initial interview, I doubt he's going to tolerate anybody not team and performance focused. I also liked his statement about "evolving it", which I hope means we're not going to do a complete tear-down and rebuild, which could take another season of adjustment, treading water and mid-table finish.

Pragmatic individual ... looks like it's Duff, KOL and maybe some U21 coaches working the squad to start with. I haven't seen a Martin staff face on any of the video and photos of Day 1. So they've all buggered off with him.
There were several of the top U21 players plus returning loaners (Cooper and Joseph) on the 24 man physical list in the videos. I have a feeling of simmering anticipation.
If Duff can integrate his usual game with the best of ours then this could be an exciting season. It's a big 'IF' but let's see how he rolls.

Announced yesterday, as we expected, that Winter was gone. We’re a little light in coaching staff, but we don’t need “specialist” if the head coach is all that and then some.

Samuel L Jackson played Coach Carter in the true biopic of the same name. If Samuel is happy to be called 'Coach' then it's good enough for us, you Mother Fuckaahs! Actually, @jackodiamonds spent quite some time working with him on compter graphics for one of his movies. He said that he'd never heard so much profanity coming from one set of lips in a short period of time, Samuel not being known for his patience. The 'MF' noun/adjective appeared almost every other word.
