Potts says that our Wilfie is making good progress and might well play before the end of the year. But he wouldn't, because he can't, commit as to whether he will be staying with us. Lest we, or anyone else has forgotten, I make no apologies for posting this video again. It shows how a top quality striker puts the ball in the net with a minimum of fuss and economy of effort. Simply put, at his best the man is sheer class at doing one of the most difficult jobs in football and if he gets anywhere near his best when he plays again, there's no way the club should sell him. Okay, his wages are heavy but pale into insignificance compared to the money we would get if his goals helped fire us back into the Premier League.

His aerial power still amazes me but I think my favourite goal was his last one for us against QPR. What an incredible strike under pressure that was!!

That was a bonus  THIS is the one.

Absolute class!
What we should pray for is another setback in Wilf's recovery so he doesn't play before the next window closes.
No one would want buy him and we only need him for half a season to get promoted.

I’d love to see Wilf back on it - but we could do with a Gylfi or Llorente apprentice on yesterday’s offering - we’ve come on in leaps and bounds on the wings and passing is a joy to behold in comparison to the sluggish haphazard best before end of July 2018 dross we were meted out, but I’m sure that stats of the missed opportunities will attest to that as our number one weakness presently - Oli tried over and over and failed over and over we need a nippy striker - I’ve had babies that were easier to deliver than yesterday’s goals😵
