Wednesday on a Saturday in Huddersfield

Relegation threatened Huddersfield up for Williams warriors .
Should be a good open game , one which we can control and use our pace on the break to hurt them .
Expect the same lineup as Williams seems adverse to change or to giving young blood a meaningful opportunity.
Yet another long away trip for our travelling support , and with Norwich away coming up as well that's some hefty mileage for them to navigate .
I predict a 1-1 draw or a narrow 2-1 win for the Swans.

Amended after a senior moment !

Maybe the fans’ bus will take them to Huddersfield?
I’m hopeful we’ll get the better of them. There seems to be a newfound confidence about the squad, albeit unfounded
But, hey, it worked for Boris Johnson!

If the team end up in Wednesday on THIS Saturday, then nothing will be amiss. Huddersfield can just huddle around their box for a while, break out slowly, cross and score .... virtually, figuratively and literally unopposed.

The Swans on other hand, if they are allowed on to the Wednesday pitch, can pass the ball around amongst themselves before crossing or shooting into the stand behind the goal that they are trying to attack. Pigeons should find that most amusing. Perhaps Williams will have Wednesday put some cones on the field to make it more of a challenge.

Looks like Williams has settled on a pattern of playing our own, starting Cullen and Cooper as auditions for next season.

With the return of Wood, Govea drops off the bench. Shame that. I thought he looked and done well enough in his appearances. Would have preferred to have seen Humpreys or Patino drop out. We now don't have a winger replacement for Pato or Cooper late in the game

Huddersfield has everything to play for while we're playing for a holiday. Its on Williams to turn this squad into Premier League outfit

Ronald fluffes an excellent chance. Instead of a first touch shot he makes an extra touch and his shot is blocked.
