The TL has gone into freefall out here, when I came out it was aprox. 3.4 to the £1 now after a steady fall over the past two weeks it's now 8.3 =£1. to put this into prospective I'm now a non smoker, but 20 cigs £1-10 a breakfast inc a nescafe is a little over £1. Happy days.

Interesting, pretty good for a holiday right now then. It is seemingly safe as we do not hear of any trouble out there recently. Even the flights from Cardiff are back.

Never really been any trouble out here, the thing Turkey was on the map for was the immigrants passing through. Yes you get skirmishes with the Kurds demonstrating up at Istanbul and Ankara, but that's 5/600 miles away from me.
Easyjet flights never stopped from Cardiff, just started a month later in the holiday season.
