Luton are playing some good stuff and getting results, which is a damned sight more than we're doing. Here we are at home with just the one striker again and he's hardly prolific. If we can get him to stay onside that would be a start. As for the rest, in terms of goals Martin is having a laugh isn't he? When I was playing regularly even I had more of a sense where the net was than any of that lot. And I guess a few on here could say the same.

Gonna have to listen again tonight. Being a midweek game I, wrongly, thought it would be streamed. @Jackflash any news from your son on that front? I can drive to the game easily enough but my buggered legs can't handle the walk from the car to the ground. As for the game, I've lost all confidence in Martin and his team selections. With that starting X1 we'll do well to get a draw. @CroJack hit the nail on the head above. We should be set up to score, not just keep possession. I can't tell you how much I want to be wrong.

I posted a few weeks back .... Martin's Mission is to avoid relegation. Promotion is a joke. Finishing in the top 6 is a joke. The squad has been decimated and too many odd lots brought in that can't possibly blend in the time needed to make an impact on this season. Too many quality players loaned out.

I wouldn't be surprised if Martin's mission ends in failure. Everything he's touched so far has been inadequate, underwhelming and unfinished. And now he can't figure out why Piroe is not scoring so he drops him in favor of a player that Martin has given very little opportunity to from day one.
