Woeful finish but we should've been 3 up at that point. Taking your chances gets you promoted; this team really does not take their chances well.

To be fair I thought we played well considering we were without Ayew and Guehi. Nice to know we can play some decent football without being reliant.
I was afraid how they would play without our 2 most important players. It's a good sign, wish we had got another goal in but our goal differential is 7 now.

Reading up 2-0 at the half and Bournemouth scores 4 in the second. That's 4 straight defeats for Reading and we're ahead of them on goal differential. The Championship certainly is the most entertaining league in the world. I just hope these owners don't hurt our chances at promotion by selling Ayew and Cabango in January.

Yeah. It was just a matter of time for Reading to start losing games. They don't create enough chances, and they don't deserve to be 5th. Bristol overperform too.

Cullen didn't get much service at all during the game. Excellent header from the corner. Give him a sniff and he'll hit the net. He should start again.

And we need to rotate Lowe out. Put Palmer alongside Cullen or Routs.

Agree Cullen should start, disagree on Lowe. Lowe runs his socks off in every game, and his workrate is underrated. High pressing is an important part of our game plan. I also don't understand criticism about Lowe's missed chances. All forwards miss chances, but those forwards who score many goals do that in clubs who create many chances, so nobody criticise them when they miss many. Mohamed Salah is a prime example of a player who misses many, many chances. Remember, Bidwell missed a better chance than Lowe, and nobody is talking about that. Let's not make another scapegoat of Lowe.

My point is that we have to create more chances and if we do that both Lowe, Cullen and Ayew will score goals. I have no doubt about it. But if you expect them to score from every chance we create, you'll be very disappointed. Sometimes it happens that one player doesn't score from five good chances in a row, and then scores from each of the next five.

I am not trying to beat on Lowe for missing chances, but he's not exactly setting stuff up for others either.

I am looking at say Cullen and Palmer as a new look front line. Palmer has muscle and carries a bit of a FU attitude. Cullen a little more sophisticated but a proven finisher at every level he's played at so far.

Lowe or Palmer or Vic, it doesn't matter so much as long as we create many chances, and as long as Cullen starts. I have nothing against Palmer and Cullen up front together with Ayew. Actually, I am pretty confident that any of them (Lowe, Palmer and Vic) can do the job. We have the best defence in the league, and a pretty interesting midfield (Grimes, Fulton, Smith, Dhanda, Gibbs-White, Byers) where each midfielder can contribute with something different and totally surprise opposition.
