Swans haven't lost at the Stadium of Light since 2012. We are either overdue or keep the streak alive. Looks like Williams went with 4 at the back. Strong lineup.

Sunderland: Anthony Patterson, Jobe Bellingham, Luke O'Nien (captain), Nazariy Rusyn, Abdoullah Ba, Jenson Seelt, Dan Neil, Callum Styles, Trai Hume, Leo Hjelde, Pierre Ekwah.

Substitutes: Nathan Bishop, Timothee Pembele, Hemir, Mason Burstow, Romaine Mundle, Adil Aouchiche, Chris Rigg, Caden Kelly, Thomas Lavery.

Swansea City: Carl Rushworth, Ben Cabango, Joe Allen, Matt Grimes (captain), Jamie Paterson, Josh Tymon, Przemyslaw Placheta, Liam Cullen, Nathan Wood, Kyle Naughton, Ronald.

Substitutes: Andy Fisher, Jay Fulton, Harry Darling, Jerry Yates, Charlie Patino, Mykola Kuharevich, Charles Sagoe Jr, Ollie Cooper, Filip Lissah.

Like the lineup. Cullen at #9. Allen playing; consistent with Williams’ prematch. Naughton ahead of Darling at RB is an interesting call.

personally I’d prefer Cooper over Pato but that’s my bias based on age, energy, vim and vigor.

looking forward to seeing more of Myk and Cullen combo later in the match

Grimes is fine playing the deep role in our previously pedestrian mode of play. Just doesn’t have the legs to be a two way engine in our up a gear mode.

This is why no bigger club ever came in for him
