And another wasted corner.
Wtf do we do in practice

It isn't only this match but he's made a habit of it lately. I'm baffled by it, there's no weekday match no reason at all. Swans were the better squad, should have taken the points. A waste against an awful team. I don't think Cooper is going anywhere until after the season. The owners must have given him a vote of confidence. He's a very poor manager.I don't think that Steve Cooper has the foggiest idea of how to coach at this level. We had players blowing out of their arses with 20 minutes to go (sooner with Routs) and he doesn't so much as make ONE change!! Cardiff made 3 to give themselves fresh legs and one of them, Paterson, nearly won it when his header hit the bar. As usual, our movement was rubbish and we persistently hit long, high balls that were gobbled up by the taller, more powerful Cardiff defenders. Meat and drink time for them! Morrison is a great defender (and attacker) in the air but gets exposed on the deck. Instead of attacking him there, we loft the ball and play to his strengths. Great thinking, Cooper.
So much more to say but saving it for later when I have more time. Meantime: COOPER OUT!!
Agreed, while I thought Brewster looked decent and I do think he'll be important this season I agree with the last point fully. He seems very similar to Clement in that regard. Using his past "success" as the belief that things are alright. Clement couldn't stop talking about his time with "world class players" and Cooper seems to be backing the U17 kids he won the World Cup with as the players who will bring us to the PL. It's not going to happen.Brewster ... ok, but did he offer anything, or show anything that would indicate he can offer anymore than Borja and should be starting at #9 ahead of him.
I saw nothing there that showed better than Borja or CBR for that matter.
Andy Pandy now has 4 players for his U17 squad .... 4 players with whom there has been success, his only success, and it seems more by luck than judgement. Clearly he’s reverting to his “mean” ... the players he thinks he knows how to coach.
Pace. Borja lacks pace.Brewster ... ok, but did he offer anything, or show anything that would indicate he can offer anymore than Borja and should be starting at #9 ahead of him.
The kids are doing ok. Cabango was good today. The other players who have more experience are not doing ok. And Cooper is definitelly not doing ok.Cooper seems to be backing the U17 kids he won the World Cup with as the players who will bring us to the PL. It's not going to happen.
Tell that to Dan James, Rashford, Salah, Mané...Pace is overrated. .
pace ... great in a straight line. But I’ve never seen anybody sprint with a limp. Trying changing direction with pace, or running on a curve ... no so easy.Tell that to Dan James, Rashford, Salah, Mané...
