Let's hope for some wholesale changes to our starting lineup for this one .
Hopefully Joe Allen will be back and Cundle and Cooper should start , Naughton has been pants lately and I would prefer Darling to start .
Reading are good in attack but weak defensively, I think that if our team turn up we can win this one 3-1.

Usual story: if we turn up we'll win. If we don't we'll lose. For all Martin praises our character, I think as a team we're lacking this trait. We can turn it on when it suits us but only go through the motions when it doesn't. Too many of our players choose to hide and give only so much and, as long as this attitude prevails, we'll go nowhere.

As for the game, I'm hoping for a two goal win 2-0 or 3-1 but we have to have the right attitude = 100%. Anything less will see us lose points.

We thought we had a strong squad this season, four changes and we were mullered.
Let’s start using our loan players to good effect like Burnley did, not keep them on the bench.
Sift out the weak players who were just going through the motions last Saturday and add some fight and aggression to the team.
Suddenly we can’t do without Manning. Allen a big miss. Too many of Martin’s favourites not producing.

We have debated culture and character earlier in the season. We have players that are fundamentally lazy or self-centered. When we play them, we effectively play a man short, as the effort and coverage isn't there.

For example, Piroe does not know how to defend. When he plays #8, he has to do that, but he's not box to box. If he's scoring then he's an affordable luxury in midfield, but against an outfit like Burnley when every player as to be counted both ways, he's a weak link. Same with Ntcham, until he gets kicked to motivate him, he's a defensive ghost and frankly his quality offensively is inconsistent. In short, Piroe and Ntcham lack energy and motivation.

I am hoping that against Reading we start Cullen supported by Cooper and Cundle. We will have energy on the front line and some semblance of familiarity and synergy between Cooper and Cullen. It will give Cullen the opportunity he deserves and give Obafemi and Piroe a chance to ponder their exclusion. With Manning out, we have a WB problem. Naughton has to start on the left and I would go with Stevens on the right with Darling starting between Cabango and Wood. After watching both Sori and Lati getting shown up against Burnley, I don't see why they deserve to start today.

For those who might have missed it, the game can be streamed in the UK via Swans TV. Let's hope they put on a show for us after last Saturday's debacle.

I won't be buying Swans TV streams anymore unless they give me my money back for the Burnley stream. Disconnected every 5 minutes and reconnected every 10. No, thanks.

Do you have a mobile @CroJack? I had the same problem as you with the Burnley stream on my computer but it was fine on my mobile with the Swans App - I just kept both running and looked at the mobile when the laptop went out.

Very annoying. I've lost my stream entirely on two occasions. I asked for a refund and got every excuse under the sun. It was almost as bad as getting Martin to change his mind about not picking his pets.

I got part of my wish.

Cooper and Cundle start behind Obafemi. Piroe is docked for the red card. Thomas comes onto the bench as a forward.

But we get Lati and Sori at WB. We're going to get hammered down the wings.

Not too shabby. I think it will be a comfortable game, if Martin has done his homework this week.

Reading missing a few due to injury. Their bench is strong, seeing Andy Carroll on it brings back some bad memories haha...

When it comes to expected goals for and against Reading neither overperform nor underperform. They score exactly as many goals as expected goals they create, and concede exactly as many goals as expected goals they allow against. Though, in the last round they didn't score from 1.7 expected goals, and conceded two from 0.70 xG.

Regarding the stream: I have a season's video pass. My phone's app is still showing Swans v Burnley on the Live page.

Does anybody else have the same or something different
