ROTHERHAM

Make no mistake, despite Rotherham's lowly position this is likely going to prove a tough game for us. Currently Rotherham occupy the last of the relegation places with 23 points from as many games. They are 2 points from safety but have 2 games in hand on most of the teams directly above them. Last time out they beat Boro 3-0 at the Riverside, a team who are themselves pushing hard for top six; a team that had little difficulty in beating us 2-0.

We can but hope that our last performance was nothing more than a temporary blip because, if we turn in a similar display tomorrow against a team battling hard against relegation, then we will lose, no 'ands' or 'ifs' about it. Everybody INCLUDING the manager will need to raise their game several notches above the abysmal farce we witnessed midweek because if we lose the chasing pack will swallow us. At our best we should win but I have a feeling that a draw would be okay.

As Ivor says, their league position doesn't do them justice, I watched their Boro game, expecting a reverse of the scoreline, but it was totally justified, a team not to be taken lightly.

It’s an attack minded line-up. Back 3 is probably our strongest. Midfield is likely a 1-2 setup with Dhanda and Houri playing forward of Grimes. Morris is on the bench.

And we now have a week to prepare for Norwich.

I have heard that Smith is injured. There was a possibility he wasn't starting. Interesting lineup. U hope for an easy pain free match. The Norwich match was interesting. Does that mean Buendia is out next match?
