We can see a clear improvement on the first half here. In the first half Swans attempted 13 passes in(to) the Millers box and 6 of them were successful (Paterson 4, Darling 1 and Lati 1). In the second half Swans attempted 22 passes in(to) Millers box, 11 of them successful (Paterson 3, Piroe 2, Grimes 2, Lati 1, Wood 1, Manning 1, and Ntcham 1).

When it comes forward passes Piroe and Grimes improved in the second half. Piroe was more dangerous and mobile, while Grimes operated more further up the pitch letting Fulton do defensive duties.

Like in the first half, our back three were really impresive.

Apart from that single key-pass to Paterson's shot Obafemi was totally absent, continuing his poor form from the first half. Sorinola, Lati and Manning were poor in the final third.

As you can see here Manning and Ntcham didn't do much to change things up front. Ntcham actually tried but only one pass to Fulton initiated something good.

- In the first half we made 49 progressive forward runs with the ball, and in the second 33. Fatigue?
- Only Piroe and Fulton attempted to attack Millers box by running into it with the ball.

Impressive both in attack and defence. Scored a stunner.

Kyle Naughton 7

Solid performance. Unlucky (fouled?) with the conceded goal.

Nathan Wood 9 MOTM

Excellent performance

Matthew Sorinola 5

Solid defensively, though didn't contribute much in attack and didn't put a single cross in.

Midfield engine, but poor crosses, corner-kicks and free-kicks

Jay Fulton 6

Solid performance, a bit anonymous.

Joel Latibeaudiere 5

Two attempted and successful crosses. Not enough for a wing-back. Solid defensively.

Jamie Patterson 7

Paterson.png
Our most creative attacker, unlucky not to score. Has to improve defensively.

Joel Piroe 6

Really poor in the first half. Improved in the second.

I gave him 3 just because he fought in the Millers box to win the ball and create Paterson's chance.
Otherwise I would give him 0.
I don't understand he was not subbed at half time. Culen? Congreve?

One of the worst peformances I've ever seen.
Judge for yourself.
