For quite some time the Welsh ladies' rugby union team have been something of a joke being routinely hammered by almost every team they played. As an example, they got routed 0-45 last season in Wales by the Irish ladies. Well, since then, a dozen or so of the team have been given full time professional contracts and then guess what? In their first game of this season's Six Nations Womens' championship, they went to Dublin and actually got a deserved win against Ireland by 27-19. What a result and well done to them!! Shows what full time coaching and team practise can achieve.
