Did I hear that Keith Todd has died? Just caught the end of the piece as I switched on. I played against Keith in the LOW when he played for Clydach (?) and also his brother Hughie. Keith was an excellent and very under-rated striker, not a big guy for a centre forward, almost Cullen-like, and was a great servant for us. Was at Stoke during our '64 cup run when he scored twice in a 2-2 draw against First Division opponents and I was at the Vetch when we beat them 2-0 in the replay with Keith, again, and Jimmy 'The Hunch' Mclaughlin getting the goals. Interesting fact: in the game at Stoke, true legend Stanley Matthews scored their first goal, which was his last before he retired.
As for today's game, comms saying we're huffing and puffing without any real threat to their goal. We need a prime Keith Todd up front! Cameron Toshack making a lot of sense again with his comments.
