Solid enough. Kinder / sharper linesman we would have had more goals. Cullen scored a peach. Rushworth did his job. Cullen getting stronger his new right wing/mid role.

Hard fought win. Blackburn could have scored several and so could we have. However, it is what it is and a welcome 3 points. Some stats:

POSSESSION: 59-41 SHOTS: 20-16 OT: 6-4 CORNERS: 6-5 FOULS: 15-7 GOALS: 0-1

They bested us in all the main stats (goals excepted) including the foul count which was over twice ours and might have been indicative of the only way they could keep us out. Whatever, they failed to keep out a superb Cullen effort which lifts us to 13th in the table. Noted that Whittaker scored a worldie as Plymouth lost 2-3 at Ipswich who're proving to be the surprise of the season; and Dan James with 2 for Leeds.

Wyndham - Liam is a genuiiiiine goal scorer, which is what I've been saying for ages. Glad to see him getting more starts but I still reckon he's better used in and around the box rather than out wide. I notice that he's began taking on more long shots and today's strike was a cracker. He was also unlucky with a long-ranger that hit the crossbar against Watford.

We are still 5th in the Form Table (Championship Form Table).

Those two losses last week where a big detriment. Two draws would have tied us with Soton for 4th. One win / one loss, would have tied us with Middlesboro for 3rd.

This is a tough league, but we're clearly better than most of the teams above us providing we play solid football and Duffer keeps his subs straight. And this is with long term injuries to key players ... who we must replace in January if we're at all serious about promotion.
