OOP NORTH AGAIN

First of a five game tricky run is a trip up north to Blackburn .
Can't honestly see us getting anything out of this game bar another defeat .
I hate being pessimistic but Duffs brand of football and the players application of his tactics and his unfathomable use of substitutions leaves me with very little hope for our immediate future .
Success here will be down to the players individual skill as I cannot subscribe to Duffs game plan, which seems to be not to lose , rather than how to win.
So come 3.00 pm on Saturday it will be everything crossed and lucky underpants on and COYJB .

I don't reckon we'll win either for much the same reasons as Blobs stated above. The bookies last week had us at 500/1 to win the league. As a point of interest Cardiff were quoted way better at 200/1. It's a measure of how low we've sunk when Cardiff are regarded as a much better team than us. The owners, along with Duff, have a lot to answer for. A mass boycott of home games might get their attention. As it is, attendances are pretty crap with only a little over 14,000 at the last game.

To be fair, Ivor, that was a Tuesday night. The previous match, a traditional 3.00 Saturday kickoff pulled in over 18000.
That may well be the peak for this season, coming as it did on the back of four straight wins and against the runaway league leaders.

Watching second half of the Saints v Brum match. Saints play 2395 backwards/sideways passes and then when they try to put in a cross they hit a Brum player. Sounds familiar?

Finally an accurate cross and they score. Wayne Rooney's third game as Brums manager and his third loss.

I have hope Duff can turn it around, he managed to get 4 wins in a row. Losing Ginnely and Wood hurts a little, we have enough talent to win. It's been awhile since we've beaten Blackburn.

Three times in a row we give the ball away in our half in dangerous positions just like we did under Martin. And almost concede.
