Cardiff draw after being 0-3 down and reduced to 10 men in the latter stages of the game. Now THAT'S what I call fight!! Fair play to them.

When Ayew got his second Ian Walsh asked the question: "Where would the Swans be without him this season?" And I agree with that.

Was he provoked? Not that I give a toss mind :D. But it does remind me of when I knocked a referee cold in the dressing room after a game. I was banned sine die for that in the then London/Home Counties league. He had sent me off and when I went to shake hands after the game, just to show willing you know, the arsehole called me a fucking Welsh bastard!! Provocation I call that.
No provocation other the lack of brain cells. Came in from behind. Ran his studs down the back of Grimes leg and straight arm to the head

What a twat!!

A win is a win, but disappointed that we throttled back and got a little sloppy once we went 2 men up. I would have wanted us to up tempo and put in a good solid practice
Totally agree. We've got no killer instinct at all. 3-1 is good but another two would have balanced the deficit against WBA and, if the unlikely happens and we maintain our challenge, goal difference could be critical come the run-in.

We played at slow pace again, and I repeat AGAIN. Anyway, a well deserved victory over a dirty and poor Boro side. Ayew MOTM.
No matter what you guys say about McKay but he is our most creative player and if we want to be scoring some goals he should be playing regularly.

McKay? Interesting, who got the header before the last goal? The Surridge one? That was a nice cross, nice header and goal. Ayew fights, Celina looked like he was standing around for much of the match but he had his moments.

Crap performance yet again. Ayew mom without a doubt
Blooperman finally sub's a useless Byers the only highlight of the game for me.
Again we were slow , pedestrian and negative. When they were down to 9 men Roberts had the ball 20 yds inside the Boro half -- you guessed right ---- he passed it back to Woodman !
We failed to dominate a piss poor team even when they were down to 9 men.
We were happy to sit back and consolidate 3 points , I would have preferred some pace , effort and shooting practice but perhaps its to early for my Xmas prezzie !

2 points ahead of you know who and they should never come this close again. They need to start playing with more fire. It was pathetic to see 9 players passing the ball around playing keep away at the end of the match. Could have been a different result without the red cards so I hope someone bought that ref a pint.

It's about time we caught a decent break or two from the officials. A couple of dozen more might see the balance of recent times redressed.

Three comments from the video. First, what the fcuk is a BROWN card? :D

Second, the co-commentator asking if the elbow was intentional. FFS!! Of course it was. It was calculated thuggery and nothing less.

Third, I know that Connor Roberts had been sucked infield to cover but, when the ball broke left to the goal-scorer, after dashing to deal with the threat, he stopped and allowed the guy a free strike. You DON'T DO that!! Connor should have thrown himself forward to try and block the shot but he didn't. How often do you see defenders in other games (Cardiff are an example) who time after time put their bodies on the line by sliding in and blocking goal bound efforts. For me that showed a lack of desire and commitment. Sorry, Connor, I like you but that wasn't good enough.

Some stats:

POSSESSION: 62-38 SHOTS: 10-8 OT: 7-3 CORNERS: 6-6 FOULS: 13-19 GOALS: 3-1

It was not a good performance and the sendings-off, both richly deserved, helped us get the win. But it was good to see that we had a ratio of 70% shots on target. That said, 10 shots overall against a very limited Boro wasn't very much, which showed our limitations in attack.

Roberts’ play on their goal was weak and lazy. As a whole we are a lot less eager to put bodies on the line than last season. I wonder why

He even jumped and turned his side towards the opposition player. He made himself smaller, instead of bigger. Lol.
