Do they ever? Options allow passes but we rarely offer them. Too much hard work for our lot - it means moving off the ball and they like to keep exercise like that to a minimum.

If anything Grimes has killed the tempo we had “gained”
He produces the odd defence splitting pass but, for the most part, he kills momentum with his backwards/sideways passing. In part that might be because of the lack of movement by his team mates - either because they don't know how or more likely because they're too fcuking lazy!
