LETS SHOW THE PILGRIMS WHO THE DADDY IS !

I'm hoping for another open and entertaining game against newly promoted Plymouth.
I think we will bag another 3 points but we will have to score more than 1 goal as Whitaker is almost guaranteed to find the back of our net !
Onwards and upwards, COYB , make us proud again.

Are we second at running, or running backwards, or running like headless chickens?
"Runs for short or backward passes are runs (>15 km/h for at least 0.7 seconds) made with the aim of offering a passing option to teammates, whether towards its own goal (‘drop off’) or to shorten the passing distance to the ball carrier (coming short)."

Seems that Duff had no choice with Whitaker's departure. Before Duff's arse had time to even warm his seat the player was in his office saying he wanted to go. Fair enough it was his decision but I hope we can ram that choice back down his throat by well and truly stuffing his new team.

Well that's the wish; that's the dream scenario. But the reality is that Plymouth are doing well and will be a tough proposition. That said, we've now gained momentum and, hopefully, have a winning mentality. We have seen glimpses that the players are starting to get to grips with what Duff wants in the past four games but it also appears that Duff is becoming more attuned to how his team likes to play.

I've said before that if we can combine the best of Martin's work with the best of Duff's, we can do well this season. There's still time to make up for our horrendous start. But this will still be a hard game tomorrow. I'd love a win but would be happy with a draw to keep our unbeaten run and newly found confidence going.

There’s not only Whittaker but also Cundle itching to fulfill the old boys curse.
Plymouth would appear to have the edge so the question is, are we up for it?

Plymouth would appear to have the edge...
Last five matches:

Swans W3 D1 L1, scored 9 conceded 4
Plymouth W1 D1 L3, scored 9, conceded 11 (they scored 6 against Norwich, which means they scored only 3 in 4 other matches).

Our form has been better than Plymouth's lately and we are the most dangerous Championship team from set-pieces. Also, they have one of the worst defences of all Championship teams, we have one of the best.

As you can see we don't concede many high quality chances
and we don't allow opposition to shoot from good positions (we are third best here).

But, yes, they are dangerous from counter-attacks and we have to be careful.

4 wins in a row would be a good statement. Whittaker would love to score against us no doubt. He scored 3 of the 6 goals against Norwich. Just imagine if he scores a hat trick on us. I'd rather not. A back 4 would help us against the counter attack, Cabango and Pedersen out for this one though.

I think it will be a very nervy 2-1 win for the Swans.

Cabango is injured. We start with Huphreys and Darling as CBs. Still a back four. Nathan TAO comes onto the bench ... I forget what position he plays.
