Yes, he flattered to deceive. I watched him in a number of games and his potential was there to see but in every game he tended to flit in and out of it. He rarely offered a 90 minute involvement and you expect players chasing a first team place to do that consistently. Now and again, on and off just isn't enough to impress. But good luck to him with his new team.

His main fault was waiting for a pass to reach him rather than moving towards the ball , he ( like Jordan ) never lifted his head to look for a pass and was dispossessed far to often .
Why he was on our books so long I don't know as he never dominated at that level like he should have.
