Tonight we will see Martins madness as his chosen 11 potter about in the potteries while Clucas once again will show us all how wrong we were about him ( we weren't, but even he can look good against Martin ball cock ups )

Will our new Loanees start ? Has Obafemi gone to Burnley , is Piroe at the party or is he mothballed for tomorrow's deadline sale ?

Do we even care anymore ?

Stoke are 2 points better off than us and will likely respond to a new manager bounce. He's an experienced guy who knows the Championship inside out, unlike Martin who seems to think his team is playing L1 outfits and can't understand how his game plan isn't working. I'd love us to win; we need to win but I can't see it. If we maintain present form we could be in for a 2/3 goal defeat. However, if our strikers remember where the goal is....... 🙏 🙏

Tonight will likely see Naughton in between Tweedle-dum and Tweedle-Dee since Cabango is suspended.

manning should be LWB, wSorinola will be RWB🤦🏻‍♂️.

FuF aka Fuckup Fisher will be in goal. I tried to find a kinder gentler short name, I really did, but nothing sprung to mind. Fisher so dumbs down the mind like his keeping that it barely registers.

what will our midfield be🤔. Clearly Martin will be tempted to play with his new toys. He won’t drop Grimes … not sure why. Allen will be “rested”, so Practice Cone will start. Oli Cooper deserves to start but again will be on the bench and Fulton will be in the stands.

Flex will start before Ntcham.

unless a club with more money than brains comes along, obafemi and piroe will continue their sterile partnership. Cullen will twiddle his thumbs on the bench wondering why he didn’t opt to be loaned out.

we will likely lose after conceding just 25% possession by at least three goals, clueless will no don’t wreck havoc. And we will end August where Martin’s Madness belongs.

I admit, I can't say I do care. Totally lost interest in this slow pace, backward thinking, sterile, unimaginative, uninspired, uninventive...style of football.

I expect yet another trashing. A couple of sloppy passes inside our own third, a couple of Fisher's mistakes, a couple of not blocked shots and crossess...is what's going to happen. Inevitably.

clucas starts for Stoke. This could be interesting. We don’t have a defender on the bench.

Clucas will score 1. Obafemi on the bench does not give me a good feeling. Are Burnley going to come in and take him? Every deadline day we have to sell.

I'm wondering if Martin is trying the 3-5-1-1 which he was so faithful to at MK Dons. The personnel fits. Hypothetically, if Obafemi was sold, Martin would have whittled the 6 strikers he had on the roster when he arrived to just 2, giving him a justification to use his favourite formation going forwards. And that scenario makes sense of Cundle's acquisition, who seems like a spare part with a 2-man deep midfield, but a useful backup if it's going to be 3 more often from now on.

I'm no doubt overthinking. Still think @CroJack is right about getting beaten again.

Instead of parking the bus and using Obafemi, Cooper, Piroe, Sorinola and Manning to counter-attack, Martin has again decided to give 3 points away. FFS, let Stoke pass the ball around and counter-attack.
