Curt REDUNDANT!!??

Not yet so don't worry but he HAS received a letter along with Potter's assistants Billy Reid and Bjorn Hamberg.

What is happening to our club? Not content with flogging off our playing assets, the Wanks now seem set on ripping the heart and soul from our football club to save what amounts to a few pennies in the grand scheme of things. How on earth can Curt be drawn into this? The mere fact that 'Mr Swansea' has even received such a letter is an absolute insult to a genuine legend who has more feeling and love for our club in his big toe than an entire regiment of Wank owners and investors.

And where is the Trust in all this? Yet again the silence from them can only be described as thunderous!!! What are they doing on our behalf? If it's nothing, why is this? What's their motivation? If they are doing something, why don't they keep us informed?

Graham Potter seems very laid back about all this but then I suppose he has to be. However, I doubt that he'd be much impressed with the prospect of his assistants being made redundant and might decide to walk should that happen. Michael Laudrup once did that and I view Potter as a man with similar principles. There'd be no shortage of suitors for his services for sure.

Okay, I accept that none of this might happen but the fact that these people have received notice of possible intent is alarming. None of this would be happening if the Wanks had remotely made good on their promises to invest their own money in the club. We all know they paid money to buy the shares to give them a controlling interest but all that seemed to do was give them a licence to cash in on whatever assets the club has. So back to the Trust. This is the only weapon we have at our disposal to try and stop all this in its tracks. But so far their efforts resemble attacking a tank with a pea shooter. WHY???? We want answers!!!!

This has to be one of the dumbest things I have ever seen. Are we really that cash poor? Is all future cash flow encumbered to the point where we need to sell the furniture to keep the lights on?

The only way this makes sense is that Curt and the two assistants have different types of employment contracts than Potter / players and are part of a class of employees that must receive notice of potential redundancy. The Club may want to let go personnel in other parts of the Club's operations in the same class.

Something seriously needs doing, and doing quickly, if the Trust are going to turn a blind eye to this then I give this cub another season or two and when there's nothing left for those bastards to bleed from it we'll be back to square one of the Tony Petty days. If this toothless Trust are going to remain silent on this issue then it can only be left to the fanbase once again to put the gun to these yanks heads, threaten total boycott of home games, the purchase of any merchandise, constant demonstrations, getting as much media coverage as possible. If Jenkins has any feelings for the club he supposedly loves,then come clean, as I'm pretty sure he holds the key to a lot of the questions being asked about monies etc.

Potter and his babes are giving our supporters a false hope of a bright future. That's why our fan base is totally split and ineffective when it comes to protests and boycots. It seems to me we have to drop down to League Two before our fans wake up.

And I don't know why I am still a Trust member. Is it so difficult to send bulk emails to the members with what is going on, what they are doing and what they plan to do?
