Can we silence the Roker roar at the Liberty

Fresh from a slightly lucky 3 pointer and no midweek game we go into a Saturday game against Sunderland.
If our defence tightens up ( we were lucky not to concede many goals from chances that should have been put away at Blackburn ) we should be able to get something out of this game .
Are we on the cusp of another winning run ? Let's hope so .

Sunerland play a fast-paced passing game; something I'd like us to be doing. They've got a lot of talented kids who're full of running and they'll give us a whole lot of grief unless we start getting our act together. We had a welcome win last week but our bright lucky star must have blinded their strikers who contrived to miss several sitters. We won't be so lucky again so I suggest that we start playing better and leave less to chance and good fortune.

An absolute gentleman as well as being a legend. It was one of the worst days in our history when the stupidity and deviousness of those in charge saw him dismissed. And how I would just love to have him back with us now. Okay, our squad is light years less in quality than his but we now have state of the art facilities and players would queue up to sign for him. We'd go again for sure and, if I won Euromillions and bought the club, he would be the very first man I'd approach to manage us. Oh, and Cameron Toshack would be his 2IC. Shaddup!! I can dream can't I? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Here's a game that would never be played today ...

Pathe cameramen and editors had a strange obsession with shooting and presenting footage of old men in flat caps smoking fags instead of the actual football.
