Can we de-bag the Baggies.

Boing-boing Baggies are on a roll , they come to us fresh from a victory over Leeds and are right in the hunt for promotion.
We will need resilience and clinical finishing of any opportunities if we are to get anything out of this game , a draw would be a great result .
Let's hope the sickness bug in the squad has moved on and that we have a full squad to choose from .
Walsh must start , he's impressed since his return from injury
Parker must be given another chance as he adds drive in the absence of Key , who is out for 4 to 8 weeks .
COYJB Put a smile on our faces for the new year .

Ditto on Walsh and Parker.

the unsolved #9 puzzle needs to be solved. So far everybody has been tried … even Bolasie, the geriatric with limited match fitness … everyone that is but Cullen. Cullen showed how to finish in the last match. FFS would it kill us to start him at #9.

note nobody interfered with Cullen taking that free kick. Sheehan was not seen yelling contrary instructions from the touch line. Everybody seemed to know who it was that had to take the free kick. If he can be trusted with that then start him at #9.

Agree with you all about Walsh and Parker. But even if we do start Culls up front he has to have the service in the box. He doesn't have the ability of some strikers to create his own chances but he's lethal when looking to mop up in the box. We need to get the ball in there as often as possible but we can't leave him in isolation. There have to be other bodies in there as well creating confusion and being alternative options for him to take advantage.

If I read this lineup correctly, we have a back 4 with Darling and Tymon as FBs.

4 man midfield of Grimes, Fulton, Walsh, Pato.

lowe and …. Drum roll … Cullen up front.

Plenty of power on the bench. A potent line-up with potential … 90 minutes will tell

Currently over 6 games, 2 home and 4 away, Sheehan has harvested 8 points out of 18 or 44%.

In contrast over his last 6 games, 3 home and 3 away, Duffer harvested 6 points out of 18 or 33%.

If Sheehan can get our home form to turn around, we're going to be looking good, very good.

I'm glad Wood is coming back, we could use his help. Patino is gone that's one spot we will have to replace. Happy New Years everyone

That's a decent looking lineup with a strongish bench as well. I'd love a win but would be happy with a draw given Albion's current good form. Btw, Eric Ramsey of Manchester Utd is the new strong favourite for our job at 2/5. Looking at United's travails I'm not sure about this - we've got plenty of our own. I think I read that he's just 31 years old? If that's true you have to question the locker room attitude as someone of that age will NOT command instant respect from the players. He'd have a lot to prove.

Ian Walsh just said that Cullen will probably play at right wing back as Tymon will play higher.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

And radio comms just said that Cullen is the most clinical finisher at the club and WALSH ABSOLUTELY AGREED WITH HIM!!!!!

So why do those stupid fcukers persist in playing him anywhere but where he's most effective????????????????

Out of possession we play 4-4-2 with Lowe and Walsh up front pressing, Cullen and Paterson dropping down to help our full-backs.

It seems Walsh is injured.
