I'm just disappointed in him but I suppose he's no different to every other modern day footballer. It's such a far cry from when I first started watching the Swans when most of the team were local lads who loved the team and just wanted to play for the team. Only the top players were transferred out to bigger teams usually because the board wanted to cash in on them.

I understand he went for £7M, ridiculously low price, probably doesn't cover the cost the club has paid out in manager compensation due to Jenkins' inadequacy in manager selection over the past few years,so in effect due to him we literally gave Fabianski away.

Jenkins errors have cost the club multi millions, ( borja , messa, bony, clucas , there's four for a start !)

As I said on another post Blobs,I think they're afraid to sack him due to some consequences that could come to light,as you rightly say there are very few business's of this size that could stand the financial losses created by him in the past few years.He is now to all intents and purposes no more than an employee,yet still allowed to continue making substantial losses,it doesn't make sense other than the possible reasons I've pointed out.

It is what it is. This will force us to use Nordfeldt, perhaps he'll turn out to be Fab plus distribution.
Nordfeldt should now get consistent games and, who knows, he might turn into something special. Certainly Championship strikers don't have the skills or the craftiness of those in the PL so it shouldn't be a baptism of fire for him.
