What a finish what and end. Didn't look loke we were robbed but I'll take an away point if we can beat Brentford at home in the reverse.

Don't know if you've had your dinner/supper yet but here's some humble pie from me to go with it. I thought Swans were GREAT, fully deserved the draw and were really unlucky not to get all three. They didn't fall way in the second half as I feared and played the way I expect and hope a Swan's side should do. Full marks to everyone, they did us proud and gave us a game that we must all have enjoyed. Keep this up, Steve Cooper, and I'll happily eat some more humble pie so far as you're concerned. Norwich will be a more than interesting game if we can reproduce this form. Well played, lads. :)

Am I happy with the point ? I'll take the point but disappointed we didn't take the three. We deserved them. League positions are right, we are that much better than them. Pressure is on Reading now.

One thing that impressed me was almost zero back passes, Bidwell put some really good defence splitting passes through to Ayew. I think Woodman had one of his quietest games for a long while.

Steve Cooper reckoned we were brilliant second half, which is perhaps an over-statement but he wasn't far off. He thought we were good for the win, which I agreed with, and pointed out that, whilst Woody was fairly quiet, their keeper had to make two world-class saves in the first half.

The basic stats are very revealing:

POSSESSION: 55-45 SHOTS: 7-13 OT: 1-5 CORNERS: 2-9 FOULS: 14-20 GOALS: 1-1

Note that we out-shot them by almost 2 to 1 and they scored from their ONLY shot on target. We mullered them on corners as well, an indication of the pressure we put them under. And I was really pleased to see that we fouled them more than they did us. Brentford mirror their manager's attitude and like to dish out the rough stuff when it suits. Tonight they got it back. :D Good enough for them!!

I hope this game won't prove to be a one-off. We showed tonight that we are a team to be reckoned with and that, if we play to our potential, there isn't a team in this league that we need fear. That being the case, there's absolutely no reason why we shouldn't be right in the mix come the end of the season. And for that matter an automatic place is a realistic aim - always providing that we continue to show consistent form.
