Attacking wise, Grimes, Cundle and Piroe were poor, while Allen, Fulton and Latibeaudiere were average. Especially Cundle was poor and he was the only one who got an overall negative rating. No surprise we didn't score.

Defensive wise, Cabango, Latibeaudiere, Fisher and Grimes were all shaky, with Cabango being the weakest link. No surprise Blackburn scored at the far post where Cabango and Latibeaudiere's were supposed to be.

I like Manning, he's been respectable for us, creates and defends. Not afraid to make a tackle. News coming out today is that he is not returning to the Swans after this season. We likely lose Manning and Lati our only Wingbacks. It's a shame with Cabango, he was so promising I hope he can turn it around

Manning will be a loss. It will be difficult but let's hope we can find a left back who is better than Manning.

Lati and Cabango are fighters but they are too slow when defending counter-attacks and against pacey wingers and strikers. Nothing against them but modern football requires pace in all positions.

If Whittaker doesn't move to Rangers I wonder how he'd perform at LWB? Outlandish experiments do sometimes pay off. He certainly has the pace.

He wants to play as 10 in ATM position. Moving him into LWB position would be a waste of talent, assists and goals. He should be playing behind Cullen with Cooper on his left and Piroe on his right in a narrow three behind the striker 4-2-3-1 formation.

I have been thinking this way too, maybe not Whittaker but other teams have been putting attack minded players at WB with some success. Put anyone with some pace at WB and I'll be happy.

Manning has been exemplary for us, when he knows his contract is up and he's not playing here next season. He still plays the way a footballer should play instead of sulking or refusing to play. Burnley still haven't signed Obafemi tona permanent deal. Maybe his agent is holding out for the Premier League promotion.

I agree but it might be a case of 'needs must'. We do have a glut of midfielders in Grimes, Joe, Fulton, N'tcham, Cundle (atm) and I wouldn't be averse to trying Whitts at WB albeit I also would prefer him as a #10. It could be a way of getting our best players on the pitch IF it worked.......

I'm all for pace. This would be my preferred 4-2-3-1 with Whittaker as ATM. Cabango and Latibeaudiere omitted because of lack of pace.

I'd prefer Fulton over Piroe. Better finisher in the box, better one touch, better at getting stuck in.

And I'd go for Sondergaard - just on attitude alone - how much worse could he possibly be if at all.

And, anybody but Darling.
